Ok, so I have a Ender 6 that I'm putting a Hemera on, running Marlin 2.0. Got tired of the filament extruder skipping when trying to push the filament that long distance. I've read there are changes that need to be made to the firmware, and that the calibration settings provided isn't exactly great. Anyone have experience with one and care to help out? Does the weight change effect the xy steppers?
Also, other than quality of life things like wifi and added ports, is there any noticeable benefit to changes the mainboard from the 4.2.7 silent board to a SKR 1.4 T? I had bought one a bit back when my ender3 blew its mainboard, never got around to installing it. If there is, then how hard would it be to recompile my firmware for that board?
