Need better way to upgrade Marlin (1 reply)

Hi,

I just upgraded to Marlin 2.1 from 2.0 and it was all hell set loose.

I had to literally go back and start from scratch with Configuration files as there were many things that never matched from the earlier version.

This has happened during an earlier upgrade too!

Wish we had a better way of upgrading the firmware without loosing any of the earlier data and neither have to start with everything from scratch!
