So I flashed some new settings and changed my PSU and after a few small glitches I decided to redo my PID autotune for both bed and tip
Bed went OK, An over temp that I fixed by temp setting PID to more passive numbers.
Now my TIP is another story...
First I was getting overtemp, Adjusted and tried again, over temp again. finally I got a real tame set of numbers that appeared to work.
then I got a timeout error...
So I waited for cool down and watched it go thru again, OVERTEMP AGAIN..... I had to start the tune with the tip at 75c for it to go and then it gets about 5 passes in out of 8 and its spitting out numbers BUT then it holds at 190c endlessly It does not get to the 200c target and times out.
actually it slowly drops 3 degrees over the 10 min it takes to timeout. then it shuts down and cools off....
I am at a loss...
Sanginololu 1.2 using M303 E9 S200 C8
I can do prints as it is, but I had one just stop on me the other day for no reason and I had one overtemp on me today. This overtemp during print was why I decided to redo PID.
ideas?
P.S. I have the print head fan off dureing the autotune...
