Adding Z as offset to X (no replies)

I have a configuration where the X axis motor is in the base rather than on the gantry. As a result, any change in the Z axis causes a similar change in the X axis. Is there a mode, or modification that will allow me to subtract Z from X (actually add) to cancel out the affect Z has on X? Currently, I can perform Home twice to get a valid home, and changes in Z are so slow and minor that Z changes probably don't need any compensation in X, but if I don't subtract Z from X for X changes, the part builds at a slant. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Example:
X = X + Z
Y = Y
Z = Z, update X
