Which U8g library to use? (no replies)

Greetings all-

I am really confused about which library to use to compile Marlin- the page for U8glib says no more development for U8glib, and that we should use U8g2 instead.

the upgrade path is not so simple. [github.com]

Has anyone gone through the migration yet? It seems like a lot for the well initiated but not knowledgeable enough user like me.

I am having issues with my previously working RRD Full graphic Display and I can not determine the cause yet.
