Hi,

I know that the TMC 2209 has the StallGuard4 function that is used for the sensorless homing but there is a way of having feedback on the motor current in real-time with the usb serial ?

i've already allowed TMC_DEBUG and when i send M122 S1 i get some numbers for each driver but I'm not able to understand what these numbers are.

Does the TMC driver always set the same current (the one that is possibile to set with M906) or does it adjust the current according to the motor's resistant torque using the CoolStep function of the TMC?

I know that this driver can do the coolstep according to the datashit attahced is possible to send the command to enable it but im not an expert on serial comunication and i'm not able to translate this in command .

in the marlin FW i have seen this
* Example:
   define TMC_ADV() { \
     stepperX.diag0_otpw(1); \
     stepperY.intpol(0); \
   }

Does any one know how to do this?

Thank you
